Many Christians have been taught to take a dim view of extravagance. Thrift, practicality, and other similar values have deep roots in our faith tradition. But extravagance does not always equal waste. This Sunday, March 15, we will consider the response of Jesus to an anonymous woman who threw caution to the winds.
