The fully human Jesus grew up in a family with similarities to our families. He can completely relate to the joys and struggles we derive from our loved ones. This Sunday, January 18, we will examine an important and fascinating episode from the life of Jesus, which occurred at a time when he was on the verge of adulthood. There are lessons for our family lives as we navigate through 2026.

Human Relations Day - January 18
On January 18, you will have the opportunity to donate to a Churchwide Special Sunday. Your generous gifts on Human Relations Day will support ministries of social justice and outreach. Specific ministries include the Community Developers Program, United Methodist Voluntary Services Program, and the Youth Offender Rehabilitation Program. The fund is administered by the General Board of Global Ministries and the General Board of Church and Society.
Envelopes will be available in the Sanctuary, Narthex, and Friendship Center. You can also write a check to FUMC with “Human Relations Day” written on the memo line and mail it to the church.
