Appalachia Mission Trip

Helping to Provide Affordable Housing for a Low-Income Family

It was a wonderful time of the year to be in Kentucky helping build a house for a single mother and her three daughters. This year’s team of five worked inside a recently framed house.  Working alongside the Housing Development Alliance, Inc. carpenters we did much of the prep work prior to the electrical, plumbing, and dry wall contractors coming in.  We also worked outside  building a deck and putting up vinyl siding.  We are always looking for more folks to join us in these fall trips to Appalachia. Halloween in Hazard was definitely a treat!
