Hospitality Ministry Team
A friendly and welcoming presence for our guests and visitors; to introduce new members to our congregation; we need people who have an outgoing and friendly personality, who enjoy making telephone follow- up calls; there is a special need for someone who can organize and maintain schedules; meets 3rd Thursday.
Greeters
Stand at one of two entrances and greet and welcome each member, guest and visitor, prior to Sunday’s 8:30 or 11:00 am worship services and special events. This is an
important and rewarding friendship building ministry.
Ambassadors of Hospitality - “red vested”
Ambassadors mingle with guests, visitors and members before and following each worship service; seek out guests and answer their questions, and assist in selection of needed brochures located at the Hospitality Center. This service area is definitely for people who love meeting people.
Contact Guests
Telephone first-time worship guests, answer questions and to give information; to follow-up with our first time guests; to begin to a closer relationship with those who are lonely and are looking for a church home.
Hospitality Center Volunteer
Staff this important information area in Friendship Center; to answer the phone and questions and provide directions on Sunday mornings.
Tour Guides
Provide tours of our church for new members and guests. Anyone from high school age or older are welcome to become a guide.
