Assist congregation members and residents in the surrounding communities to manage their health and wellness needs.
Assist With Funerals (Helping Hands)
Help in kitchen for small meal or coffee/punch reception for families of bereaved,
following a funeral. We welcome anyone to assist with this kind and compassionate ministry team.
Fitness & Beyond
Assess, plan & coordinate the healthy lifestyle activities that respond to the interests and needs of adults participating in a three (3) times a week physical fitness program at
the church.
Homebound (Seasonal) Deliveries
Help prepare and deliver Christmas & Easter gifts to church members; to deliver Christmas poinsettia and Easter lily to church members who are homebound.
Homebound Phone Calls & Visits
Regularly visit or call an assigned home-bound church member, building a relationship of listening and prayerful support.
Hospital Visitation
Make friendly visits to hospitalized church members.
Parish Nurse Program
Trained nurses work with congregation members and community residents to provide health related services through the Wellspring Health and Wellness Ministry.
Stephen Ministry
Offer confidential one-on-one Christian care to a church member who is facing a wide variety of crises or life changes: people who are grieving, divorced or separated,
terminally ill, unemployed, hospitalized, homebound, lonely or discouraged, experiencing spiritual struggles, and more.
Support Group Assistants
Assist a pastor in leading a support group.
Support Group or Regular Dinner-Meeting Meals
Provide a periodic meal (expenses reimbursed) for groups meeting at dinner- time.
Transportation/Rides for Church Events
Give periodic rides to parishioners in need, to church, or to a doctor’s appointment.
